What do I do if an email activation link has expired?

 

Help - The first-time email activation link has expired! There are two options available, one that Users can action themselves and one for Administrators.


If you are the User

  1. Simply click here log in to ClickHSE and then choose ‘Forgot Password’

  2. You will be sent a new email to your registered email address with a new link where you can then complete your account and password setup.


If you are the Administrator

You can provide a one time temporary password to the User in order for them to activate their new account. to do this you will use the ‘Reset Password’ option within your Administration Dashboard

  1. Login to your Administration Dashboard

  2. Go to User Management > View Users

  3. Here you will see list of all registered users where you can find the user from the list displayed, or use a filter to locate the person you need.

  4. Once located click on ‘Reset Password’.

  5. This action will reset to a temporary default password for you to give to the user.

Simply pass this temporary password to your user and they can access ClickHSE, completing their verification and will be promoted to create a new password when they next login.

Tip - Ask staff to check their junk or spam folders for the activation/password reset mail.
