A comprehensive course aimed at everyone. First Aid is the initial assistance or treatment given to someone who is injured or suddenly taken ill, this course describes the sequence of priorities for giving first aid, providing essential information on how to deal with emergencies, and how to look after yourself, it also covers the steps involved in assessing and treating a casualty:

Chapters: General Injuries; Burns, Bone, Joint and Muscle Problems; Medical Conditions, and how to Attend Casualties, plus assessment paper based on various scenarios.

This is a self-paced module which also acts as a reference guide to general first aid practices.

Most of our courses have a seat time of approximately 45 to 60 mins; obviously the time to complete a course depends on each learner.
